10 Year Reunion Committee
Dear Class of '78,
The following list is the committee who worked very hard to make the reunion a success.
Cathy (Pool) Yetter, Vice Chairman - Given the
distance Cathy had to travel for meetings, she was still able to attend a number of
meetings. She was inspirational in getting the committee started and did write
both letters that were sent to you.
Kelle (Horne) McMahon, Secretary - Kelle kept track of all the
things we said at the meetings (well, just the important stuff). She also helped in the
registration committee. Kelle became known for the Fuzzy Navels she made for meetings.
Judy Rasmunson, Treasurer - Keeping track of the money is
very important. She assured that the money was all taken care of and in the bank. Be
advised, however, have patience in waiting for her at the back for banking hours. Judy was also
in charge of the Saturday Night Party.
Nancy (Daniel) Anderson, Nancy was in charge of the Friday Night
Mixer. She was real handy to have on the committee and acted as out gauge. When she
was nervous we probably had a lot to get done and better get going. When she was calm we were
right on schedule.
Rod Applegate - The Sunday picnic will be a success due to Rods
efforts. He also got involved in the registration committee Yoo WHO - Rod is single and needs a
spouse! Signed: Rod's Mother.
Karla (Nagy) Johnson - Karla blinked when we asked "Who wants
to type all the stuff into a computer for the memory book?" She got the job. So, in
between hauling grain and slopping hogs, you could find Karla in front of her computer. Good Job!
Darla Hirst - If there was an extra job that needed done, Darla got the
job. She got the banner done, did all the leg work for the raffle, and played a big part in the Friday Night
Mixer.
Tracy (Dahl) Pippin - You've heard of all-around cowboys in
rodeos? Well, Tracy was the all-around committee person. She was there when
something needed to be done. Unfortunately there will not be a silver buckle for her efforts.
Barb (Ekman) Kelly - In addition to being handy in all
the planning, Barb took the name badges home, sat her family down, and making the name badges became a
family affair. Thanks also to Kevin, Aimee, and Jennifer. Upon finishing the
badges the family jumped in the car and took a well deserved vacation.
Teresa (Beebe) Gustine - A tough job in these tough economic
times (Montana speaking) is collecting donations, contributions, prizes, etc. Teresa headed
this up. Teresa was another all-around committee person. She proof read this, which
relieves me.
Melody Hayes - Joining us late but with great enthusiasm,
helped renew the committee vigor. I know Melody is one that can't say no when asked to help in
the community and yet she found time to help get the reunion planned.
Cindy (McLaren) Sawyer - If you buy a drink for anyone, buy it
for the one who licked all the stamps and envelopes, for this person must still have a dry
tongue. Cindy did this for us.
Catie Shanahan - Catie on short notice, and upon flying to Helena
and meeting with me on specifics, decided to take the job of drawing the cover and inserts throughout the
book. It really helped make the book more interesting.
There is a group of people that really deserve the credit. Without their patience, understanding,
and endurance, the reunion would not have turned out at all. These people are the spouses of the
present committee. Rumor has it they have organized and vowed to stop any effort that would put
the present reunion committee back in as the committee for the 20 year reunion. My wife,
Brenda, is heading up the project.
There were many others that helped with finding lost classmates, stuffing envelopes, providing ideas,
and registering. The committee would also like to thank them.
A great big thanks is deserved for all the above mentioned for a job well done.
Dave Donaldson
Chairman
