Family: My son Kasey is 11 years old. I always wanted lots of kids, but since I only have one, I generally have to borrow other people's, (it's a lot cheaper than having more of my own!) Kasey and I have a lot of fun together, especially traveling, camping, gardening, playing basketball and swimming. I was very proud of him when he won a full scholarship to go to Space Camp in Florida when he was in the 4th grade. We are hoping to go to Gambia (West Africa) to visit friends in the future.
Career: I just started a new position as an Individual Support Coordinator, for people with developmental disabilities. Prior to this, I was with West Mont for 12 years. For five of those years, I was the Program Manager for the Farm in the Dell (a residential and vocational facility for people with developmental disabilities.) That position was a lot of fun -- we grew approx. 11,000 lbs of tomatoes per year; plus pumpkins, alfalfa, raised flowers, and had a petting zoo.
Accomplishments: I'm really thankful that I'm still alive after all of the really crazy things I did when I was younger (i.e. hitch-hiking to Chablis France from Stavanger Norway to visit Claudia over Easter, -- spending nights in telephone booths on the way; continuing to take pictures at Check Point Charlie - East Berlin, after being told not to; smuggling a kitten home when returning from Germany, etc., etc..) I completed a ten month sociology course in Norway, which was tricky at first, since I had to learn Norwegian. I got my BA in 1985 at the University of Montana. I hope to get a master's degree someday.
Classmates: Carol Roberts, Shelley Douglass, Karla George, Claudia Ferriz, Kerri Otto, Kathy Richards, Neda Weldele, Letitia Loyd, Doug Brock.
Teachers: Mrs. Honzel, Ms. Slattery, and Ms. Harris
Activities: Speech Team Meets, German and French Clubs, Vigilante Parades, etc.

Well, it's hard to believe another 10 years has come and gone. I thought about not sending any information in and letting Karla (Nagy) Johnson compose a creative 10 year history for me. For those of us who know Karla, it was a real dilemma. Do I take the chance of Karla creating something crazy and off the wall, even if it were more exciting than my own?
1998 finds me still enjoying the single life (mom's still trying) and celebrating my 20th anniversary at AAA Mountain West. In 1995, I changed my carrier path from Business and Accounting to Insurance. I accepted the Insurance Administration Manager position at AAA and have enjoyed the new challenges associated with the job.
Since our last reunion, I have achieved my goal in bowling. During one single season, I rolled games of 300, 299, 298 and an 804 series, all at different times however. What a year! I am actively involved in our Helena Bowling Program, holding Vice President positions on both the Men's and Junior Bowling Association boards.
In addition to my involvement in bowling, I have enjoyed having dinners and playing cards with friends. My two nieces and nephew also keep my busy (and out of energy). Traveling has also been on the front burner since our last reunion. I have cruised to Alaska, Eastern and Western Caribbean and most recently, the Panama Canal. It's been extremely enjoyable seeing new countries and am already planning my next cruise through the Mediterranean.
While I have lost a little hair, gained a little around the middle and surely on the verge of a "mid-life" crisis, I look forward to seeing each and every one of you! I have enjoyed working with everyone on both the 10 and 20 year reunion committees and I know it will be another terrific reunion!
Here's to another 10 years!
